All Saints Day (1st November)

It is a day when the entire Church rejoices for the victory of the countless multitude of holy men and women, most of whom are unknown to us,
from all walks of life, of any age, from all nation, who have followed and loved God here on earth in their ordinary life till the end and are now
enjoying the eternal happiness in heaven. In our parish, we especially remember our patron — St Peter the Apostle, who is one of the first people
that Jesus had evangelized when He came into this world. St Peter’s love for Jesus made him courageously shouldered the responsibility of the
early Church, and tirelessly carry out the ministry of spreading the Gospel despite countless sufferings, trials and sacrifices. And eventually
martyred for the sake of Jesus, the Gospel and the Church. We should also remember the two saints in our parish, St John Lloyd and St Philip Evans, who were martyred in Crwys Road in Cardiff. Their stained-glass windows are on the lefthand side in our church’s entrance. We ask for their intercession and we strive to follow their example, so that we too can fulfill our vocation to be saints.
Wish you all have a very blessed All Saints Day!
